How does pricing work?
Hosts set their own hourly rate (typically $3–5/hr). You only pay for the time you actually charge, rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes. Wizzyz adds no markup to your bill — the platform fee is paid by the host.
Do I need new hardware?
No. Hosts use the EV charger they already own, and guests just need their car and the app. There is nothing to buy or install.
What if something goes wrong?
Every session is backed by $1M liability insurance. Hosts can end a session remotely, and our 24/7 support team handles any disputes or issues promptly.
How do guests find my charger?
Your listing appears on the map for nearby drivers. They book a time slot, and on arrival scan the QR code you post by the charger to start the session.
Can I use my own listed charger?
Yes. List it, keep it available only when you are not using it, and block out any times you need it yourself.
What verification is required?
All users verify their identity and driver’s license before booking or hosting, so both sides know who they are dealing with.
